In the beginning stage when a man and woman start wanting each other, hormones such as testerone and estrogen are released.
The desire to want each other grows more intense and after the man and woman fall in love, dopamine and serotonin are produced.
Serotonin is the most important chemical in love. It makes a person temporarily insane. It also makes a person blind to other person’s fault.
when a man and woman want to become more intimate which inventually leads to marriage, the brain discharges oxytocin and vasopressin.
The level of hormones will remain high for about 2 years. 3-4 years the longest. Then, all the hormones will run low.
The rosy pictures seems to have lasted longer for me but it normally wears off after 2 years.
